Though school swimming is completely separate from Club swimming, the following information has been included for the benefit of our Members. To be used as a guide only.
· Age for school swimming is determined by the age you turn during that calendar year.
· School swimming times are not accepted for any meets other than school swimming – unless the meet is sanctioned by Swimming Queensland (ie School State Swimming Championships). It is important to note that it is the individual’s responsibility to contact SQ in writing to request that the sanctioned school swimming times are added to the National Database.
Levels of completion:
~ Level 1: Schools
Each school selects a team to compete at Districts. Please contact your child’s school for their selection criteria.

A list of events held at Regionals is detailed in level 3. Should your District not hold all the events on offer, and you have met the qualifying time at a previous qualifying event, then please discuss the selection criteria for these events with the organiser for your District.
~ Level 3: Regionals (each District is part of a ‘Region” - Metropolitan West, Metropolitan East, etc - 12 regions in QLD)
